From the Julian Alps to the Adriatic, passing through the Slovenian Vipava Valley: On this very same territory, in a single year, you can race at the foot of Montasio, climb vertically up Čaven, finish on the beach at Duino, and set off at night from Trieste. These are not four separate races. They are four ways to travel along the same ridge.
True investment is in the routes – which change every year, because every year we seek out new angles, never-before-seen viewpoints, paths that deserve to be run at least once. We don't grow in numbers: we remain true to what trail running has always meant.
There's a precise difference between those who sell merchandise and those who brainstorm an experience. For us, the bib number is the culmination of a journey., not the starting point. First comes the route, the logistics, the atmosphere, the contact with nature and with the people running near you.
Let's try to keep everyone happy: those who want to run at the minimum price, with no extras and no complications, will find exactly that. Those who prefer the best possible solution – from reserved parking to on-site hospitality – will find that too. The same bib, the same mountain, no B-class.
Alpe Adria Ultra Trail — 20 June 2026
Val Saisera & Val Dogna · ⏰ Prices rise on May 15th · 🔴 12 spots left in total on the 27km and 48km
L’Alpe Adria Ultra Trail has two souls, and it's important to understand which one is right for you before you sign up.
The first soul is fast
The 10km Saisera Summer and the 20km Pellarini Trail They move through the ancient forest of Val Saisera, with views of Montasio and Cima Nabois. Runnable terrain, accessible elevation gain, authentic alpine atmosphere. For those who want to discover the mountains while running, without technical challenges.
The second soul is mountaineering
The 27km Dogna Jôf and the 48km Ultra Jôf I am something else. They are not tackled like sky races – they are tackled like sky trails. There are sections you don't run, where you climb carefully and watch your footing. Then there are sections where you enjoy the speed. And for those who prefer to walk the whole thing, the cut-off times are wide enough to allow it. A philosophy like it used to be.
12 places left — in total, across the two races
The limit isn't per single distance; it's the number of people we want to have on the Jôf di Dogna at the same time. One hundred people at altitude, not one more. A number that respects the mountain and those who face it.
If you are considering the 27 or the 48, before clicking Sign up Stop for five minutes: look at the photo of the site inspection we just published Read the post in its entirety. It is not promotional material – these are the real conditions of the route as seen last week. If, after seeing them, you feel like going, we are ready. If you have any doubts, write to us beforehand.
