Article 05 – Tracking and routes
It is advisable to carefully study the technical documentation and the “Race Guide” which can be consulted and downloaded from the official website, which will be published within thirty days of the start of the race. Competitors must strictly respect the racecourse marked with flags equipped with reflective tape and logo of the event and/or the S1 logo. Any signs of different colors must be overlooked as they indicate routes unrelated to the race. The initials S1 and the name of the race are always shown on the official markings of the race, any other signs of a different type of markings must therefore be neglected. If you do not meet the marking flags/ribbons for several hundred meters, you have to go back to make sure you are on the correct path. The removal from the official track, in addition to leading to disqualification from the race, will take place at the sole risk and peril of the competitor.
ALL COMPETITIONS ARE MARKED BY BANDS OR FLAGS EXCEPT FOR NAMES IPERTRAIL .
The route of the Trieste Urban ECOMARATHON is fidal certified and is equal to 42km 195mt
Article 06 – Registration and timekeeping
La data di apertura delle iscrizioni è a 60 giorni dalla fine dell’edizione precedente.
The closing of the administrative procedures, telephone and web assistance on the registration process take place 7 working days from the race.
The competitor must be up to date with all the documentation by that date, otherwise the registration will be invalid.
After this term, it will only be possible to intervene autonomously, where the system still allows modifications, through one’s own competing area.

Any changes will be communicated clearly and in the shortest time possible to the participants also through the staff on the route if the race is in progress. In these cases there is no type of compensation to competitors. The suspension of the race is not foreseen in any case: the date and the geographical area are in themselves indicators of a strong possibility of bad weather, which is considered as one of the fundamental components sought by the athlete in the competition.
Article 18 – Environment
The race takes place in natural ecosystems. Competitors must behave respectfully to the environment, in particular avoiding littering, picking flowers and harassing the fauna. We will proceed immediately disqualifying in case of voluntary abandonment of waste along the route.
It will be verified that any GEL, Bars and wrapped consumables are marked with the competitor’s bib number. This is only in order to identify any waste abandoned along the way. During the race it will be possible to integrate food supplies at the refreshment points or at the life base, at the competitor’s discretion, after marking all the wrappers.
Each competitor, as indicated in the mandatory material, is required to have a personal container for liquids with him.
The environmental impact due to the production of waste from this event is limited thanks to actions such as, for example, the use of compostable or reusable crockery and cutlery instead of disposable ones, the dispensing of draft drinks, and the use of alternative ways of communicating and advertising the event.
To minimize the use of “disposable” materials, replacing them with other reusable materials, we can use:
• crockery and cutlery in ceramic and metal instead of plastic;
• shopping bags and cloth bags instead of plastic bags;
• bottles of water and soft drinks with the returnable vacuum system rather than buying disposable bottles;
Article 19 – Use of showers and cloakroom
