Here is Bora Village, the arrival point of all races. From this map you can view the car parks, the shuttle stops and the logistics of the finish point of the race
Where should I stay? Which shuttle should I take?
๐ The finish line of our races is located in PortoPiccolo. If you want to have the convenience of sleeping right at the finish line, we recommend you to stay at the PortoPiccolo Apartments. ๐
๐บ Check our map to see all the available accommodations. Each of the accommodations listed on this page has committed to offer a direct booking, with no intermediary costs, ensuring the best price. ๐ฐ
๐ If you need help deciding which option is best for you, do not hesitate to call us at 040 411341. We are here to provide advice and suggestions. We have solutions for every budget and taste, starting from 15 euros per night! ๐ผ
๐ For the races of 21, 29, 42, 57 km:
These are linear races, which start from one point and end at a different point, specifically Bora Village, PortoPiccolo.
You can choose accommodation in either the start area, the finish area (Bora Village, Sistiana), or in Trieste Centre.
๐ On the morning of the race, we provide a shuttle service from both Trieste Central Station and Bora Village (the finish line for all races) to the starting points. It is mandatory to book the shuttle, which costs 3 euros. Booking is done exclusively through your runner profile, and cash payments on the spot are not allowed.
In the afternoon, free shuttles without reservation return to Trieste Central Station, approximately every two hours until 19:00.
๐ Before making your decision, we recommend checking the page of your race to verify the shuttle times.
๐โโ๏ธ If you expect to reach the finish line shortly before the time limit, we suggest choosing accommodation in the finish area.
๐ For the races of 9, 80, 164 km and Ipertrail:
We recommend choosing accommodation in the finish area, near the Bora Village. The return shuttle service to Trieste is only active in the afternoon of the race day and therefore may not be available for athletes who finish during the night or in the early morning hours.
๐ If you are traveling with friends or family, it might be convenient to stay in Trieste as well, but in this case, we recommend arranging your own transport from the finish to the city.
For the 164 km Ultra or Ipertrail race, if you have company, it might be a great idea to stay in the start area. Please note that there is no shuttle service provided for the return. โ ๏ธ
Advice for all runners: If you are traveling alone, are not very familiar with the area, are not used to managing logistics, or want the simplest solution, we suggest staying in the Finish Area and taking the shuttle from the Finish to the start. Alternatively, stay in Trieste and move to the finish area on the morning of the race taking the shuttle from there. There is plenty of parking available. It takes 15 minutes to walk from the bib pick-up area to the shuttle start, through the pedestrian village closed to traffic.
