S1 Beer Run returns: 60 minutes of goliardic running and 140 beers up for grabs

The evening before the Corsa della Bora, one of the most eagerly awaited and light-hearted events of the weekend returns: the S1 Beer Run in PortoPiccolo. An hour of running on a 1 km loop, pre-race atmosphere and a very special prize money: 140 beers offered by the sponsor.

The formula is simple: you run for 60 minutes on a closed circuit, with about 200 ml of beer per round, plus the glass at the start and the final glass. It is not a race for specialists, but an openly goliardic event, designed to break the ice and turn eve into an evening of celebration.

The track alternates between two surfaces: about the 50% on a pebbly beach and the remaining 50% on pavement, for a short, controlled and easily manageable route, even in darkness. The safety requirements remain fixed: mandatory headlamp and minimum age 18 years to participate.

For many runners, the Beer Run is the ideal way to organise the day before the main race: arrival at PortoPiccolo, bib collection, participation in the Beer Run, followed by, pasta party. A sequence that allows you to take care of the formalities, enter the atmosphere of the event and experience the race village without hurry.

As far as registrations are concerned, the procedure differs depending on the participant's situation.
Who is already registered for a race in La Corsa della Bora does not have to make a new registration: by accessing the own runner profile can simply select the “S1 Beer Run” option” among the available services. This will run both the main race and the Beer Run with the same bib number.

Who instead is not yet registered you can find all the latest information, the conditions of participation and the dedicated form on the official page:
