For a decade, we’ve been organizing this race and experimenting with something new each year. The feedback we get is either overwhelmingly positive or highly critical!
No one signs up for a race just for the race pack! However, it’s also true that the race pack serves as a memorable keepsake of the race experience and the challenges faced, and can often turn into a useful item.
Last year’s padded picnic blanket was a huge hit for some, being used in various ways—from post-race recovery to family picnics, from a car blanket for the dog to a beach towel. It was either adored or loathed.
In 2018, we were pioneers in offering dry bags. These received a lot of criticism initially but over time became one of the most duplicated valuable items by other races, and indeed a perpetually useful accessory.
One constant remains: when we offer jerseys, you say “enough with the jerseys,” but the year we don’t, the majority ask for them.
We aim to spoil you this year by letting you choose your own race pack!
For all races, the standard offering is the new S1 long-sleeved jersey in Italian National Blue. Made from super-breathable, lightweight fabric and featuring subtle graphics, it’s suitable for any occasion—racing, training, or leisure time.
For the 80 km and Ipertrail FULL and SELF, we're adding 40L S1 dry bags to the race pack, available this year in GREEN and BLUE colors.
For those participating in Ipertrail FULL, SELF, or running at least THREE Ipertrail stages or two Ipertrail stages and one race on Saturday, January 6th, the S1 technical down jacket is included in your race pack.
But there's even more.
Subject to stock availability, when you pick up your bib number, you’ll have the options to:
- Switch the long-sleeved jersey for a short-sleeved one.
- Replace the long-sleeved jersey with an S1 picnic towel.
- Exchange the S1 long-sleeved jersey for either a long or short-sleeved Alpe Adria Ultra Trail jersey.
