Race Enrollment

JANUARY 5, 2025
Competitive and non-competitive
(with & without certification)

For the first time, the 21 km race of the Bora Run presents a looped course, specially showcasing the area of Aurisina and its breathtaking trails. These paths wind through the vineyards and karst scenery, constantly offering splendid views of the sea. The celebratory route of the tenth anniversary introduces a novelty compared to the more iconic itineraries of past editions, starting with a direction that enters the Carso vineyards.

Subsequently, participants will face Monte Ermada, giving them a visual experience like no other: on one side, the Italian and Slovenian Alps, majestically covered in snow, and on the other, the intense blue of the Gulf of Trieste. A mixture of white road, never monotonous or repetitive, always with views of the sea or mountains, together with single-track paths. The rhythm variations, the type of terrain and the scenery make the race always diversified and interesting, never monotonous, always free of technically difficult or exposed sections.

The final stretch crosses the Duino Cliff Natural Reserve, following the spectacular Rilke Trail, one of the most beautiful and panoramic routes in the entire Upper Adriatic, as well as the most enchanting viewpoint over the Gulf of Trieste. The finish, celebrated in grand style for the tenth anniversary, offers a breathtaking view of the gulf and the finish line directly from the wonderful cliffs of the Rilke Trail. Subsequently, the descent brings the participants to sea level, where they will cross the finish line at water level.
