Trail shoes are indispensable. Poles are not necessary and perhaps a nuisance, as on the steepest (but easy) section it is easier to help yourself with your hands!
According to Petter, La Corsa della Bora is a great way to kick off the racing season, serving as an ideal preparation for the longer events scheduled for early or late summer. The course offers a combination of terrain and conditions that makes it varied and challenging, but not exhausting, allowing the riders to focus entirely on the race or to be enchanted by the breathtaking views.
